The brown trout was first imported to the United States in 1883 from Germany. Brown trout have been implicated in reducing native fish populations especially other trout through predation, displacement, and food competition . Fausch and White (1981) stated adult brown trout displaced adult native brook trout from the best habitats in a Michigan stream, and in the northeast in general. Brook trout are also more susceptible to angling and predation. The state of California has attempted to eradicate brown trout in some areas in order to preserve native golden trout. Some of the states are trying to eradicate brown trout out of some areas to preserve the native species.

Lobster Processing License
The proposed rule making creates a two way approach for a Lobster Processor license that would allow both processing of tails and lobster parts with a fee of $500 for a new one . For a lobster processor Tails only license for processing only lobster tails with a fee of $159 new fee and similar to the former lobster tail permit. The proposed rules would also update the lobster meat permit rules similar to the repealed lobster meat permit. With no change to license fees, There would be records required for each license holder for traceable and enforcement purposes. A date of July 1, 2010 is proposed for these regulations.

Illegal striper fishing north caralina
Atlantic striped bass may not be caught, harvested or possessed in a zone between three and 200 nautical miles from shore. A person caught fishing for striped bass outside of three nautical miles is subject to fines starting at $100 per fish, according to the release.
Reports of thousands of dead striped bass floating in the ocean began circulating Saturday around Dare County. Photos of dead fish were electronically circulated, prompting Division of Marine Fisheries and the Coast Guard to investigate.

Lobstermen Getting money back
On September 24, 2010, Maine lobster industry was certified under the TAAF program. The TAAF program gives the lobstermen a chance to make there money back from previous years. Theycan make up to $12,000 but they have to go to all of the meetings and show proof of fishing in 06-08 season and to show proof of your lobster license. The lobstermen have to fill out complete several application forms through your local Farm Service Agency office.
